This workshop leads educators through the process of assembling a terrestrial robot, such as those used in Robot Drone League. Participants will gain valuable skills in computer aided design (CAD), electrical and mechanical design, and programming. Participants will build a robot and practice programming and flying a drone. During the workshop, educators will learn how to use their robot and drone to work together to complete various tasks. Participants will take home their robot chassis complete with all electronic and a Tello Drone. This workshop is limited to 10 participants.
The workshop is taking place July 11th – July 15th at STREAMWORKS at the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Valleybrook campus near Kingsport, Tennessee.
The workshop fee is $2500, which includes the robot chassis, electronics, Tello, and other required materials.
NOTE: Instructors and mentors must cover their own travel expenses.
