This workshop leads educators through the process of assembling a FarmBot, the most advanced and customizable agricultural learning machine. Participants will gain valuable skills in computer aided design (CAD), electrical and mechanical design, and programming. Participants will spend a week working together to build a FarmBot and apply it to a real agricultural scenario. After gaining this experience, ach participant will receive a new, in the box FarmBot Express to take home. This workshop is limited to 10 participants.
The workshop is taking place July 18th – July 22nd at STREAMWORKS at the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Valleybrook campus near Kingsport, Tennessee.
The workshop fee is $2500, which includes the FarmBot and required materials.
NOTE: Instructors and mentors must cover their own travel expenses.
