ROBOT DRONE LEAGUE
September 5, 2020 - January 16, 2021$800
Challenge based learning unlocks the potential of every student to explore the world of innovative design and deep understanding of technical concepts. It is all about engagement and Robot Drone League represents the ultimate challenge for the next generation of students who want to show what they can accomplish, completely on their own.
This year’s 2020 RDL challenge takes on Mission Dragonfly that NASA will be attempting in 2026. The challenge takes place on the surface of Saturn’s moon, Titan. Titan’s terrain includes mountain ranges, craters, methane lakes, and extreme weather that will challenge engineers and scientist to develop a rover to explore Titan’s surface. Participants will be stepping into the roll of NASA scientists in order to develop a prototype that will tackle this challenge while developing skills of the future workforce.
